Our 8-Point Process

From first nail to the finishing touch, here’s how we do it:

1. Your Team

We’ll establish one Project Manager to work with you from inception to completion — eliminating typical confusion when projects are handed off from person to person.

2. Define and Discuss

Construction and remodeling can be stressful, but by working together, we can help minimize that stress. To assure a successful project from the very start, we work with you to understand the details of your project goals, budget and timeline.

3. Architect

If an architect is needed for your project, we will align you with one who has the capabilities and experience perfect for it. We’ll work closely with your architect to ensure we’re designing and selecting materials that will perform optimally for your use and get you the most for your money.

4. Pricing and Hiring

Once designed, your Project Manager will submit the plans to subcontractors for pricing. We will carefully review each proposal and proposed materials to select the right bidder for your project, not just the lowest bidder.

Each subcontractor selected will share our values and bring incredible experience to your project. Before we hire anyone, we check references and insurance, review past projects, critique credentials and ensure their character fits within our team. This ensures we hire only highly skilled, qualified subcontractors to provide the best results at the best price.

5. Proposal

Once we’ve selected the ideal subcontractor team, we’ll create a detailed proposal for you. We eliminate gray areas by detailing what your proposal includes, and what it does not. So you know what to expect right from the start.

6. Permitting

If desired, we can obtain the necessary permits for your project. Our Project Managers and Superintendents work to form strategic, successful relationships with local municipalities and city officials to make for a smooth process and to minimize stress for our clients.

7. Construction

Your Project Manager and Superintendent work closely to schedule subcontractors and materials to complete your project on time and on budget. Quality control measures throughout the project ensure your project is constructed to high standards and with quality, durable materials. You and your Team will be communicated with throughout the process using your preferred method of communication.

8. Post Construction

The last 10% of the project is where most contractors drop the ball. Not at Diversified. We’ll do a final walk through with you to ensure the project has been completed at or above your expectations. If any future issues arise, just call us and we will be there to help.
